The 25ft. diameter turntable was originally built for a high school production of Le Miserables. The top was broken into eight wedges and a center hub. The 35ft. diameter turntable was a bit bigger beast. With an interior section breaking into eight wedges and center hub similar to the 25ft. one, it had an additional 16 pieces to complete the outside. Also included was a commutator in the center. This was capable of delivering 10 individual circuits to anything needing power on the turntable while it was in motion. This eliminated any need of partial rotations due to limits of cables and other problematic workarounds.  The motor was driven by a fully programmable driver. Capable of endless speed settings, ramp ups and downs, and position sensing it ending any need of visual marks to manual stop
