A long time friend and co-conspirator, Jim Callahan, from my home town Beaufort, S.C. has some of the most bizarre presentations you will ever see. Having met through similar work, I have watched him develop some of his most daunting endeavors over the past 10 years. This is how involved some of the stuff he does is. Years of research and development are pushing his performances to a new level. If you ever have the opportunity to book him for an event don't think twice. www.jimclass.com. He's got great articles about just about any and everything. In fact I hold Drew personally responsible for the latest craze of blogging. Drew's been reporting his thoughts on various topics with a heavy does of wit since before most companies had a web site. He's also created one of Atlanta newest yearly celebrations Pirate Palooza. If you guys still have your pierced ear from the 80's here's your chance to use it!

Everyone has family and here's a bit of mine. My younger brother Kevin has been racing anything that had wheels since he could keep a dirt bike balanced. He raced go-carts through high school. Then, moved up to Mini stock racing an incredibly fast VW Beetle where he landed himself in the NASCAR record books for doing so. He once again progressed by racing in a division know as Legends Cars. Most recently he has been racing in the car, seen here, he built from the ground up, literally. He bent and welded every piece of tubing in this car. Check out his latest racing stat's here. www.kevinobrienracing.com
Another friend from USC Paul Blake, tired of the restraints of former papers, has struck out and created his own local rag. He is always looking for some local politician or business owner to run through the wringer. So if your ever passing through Columbia, S.C. stop and pick one up, or go to the site and just read it there. It's the paper everyone loves to hate. www.columbiacitypaper.com
While studying theatre at USC I met Dave Coleman, at the time, studying for his Masters Degree in design. When I moved to Atlanta I was excited to find out he too was living here and working on commercials. He asked if I could help him out on a Krystals commercial for a week long shoot. As a result, the next week I quit my full time job at the Center for Puppetry Arts and started freelancing. He has since moved to L.A. to continue his career as a designer and last year launched his most ambitious endeavor. www.drykounty.com
I originally met Chris Burns while I was working at the Center for Puppetry Arts. He would work there from time to time as a freelance carpenter and when he wasn't there he was busy building his acting career. After I left the Puppet Center, sometime had passed until the next time I saw him which was on a Georgia Lottery commercial. I was laying with my head sideways on the couch when I nearly snapped my neck trying to turn my head up when I realized it was him. He's a great character actor and makes catching him on TV spots a bit of a trick. Sometimes he looks like himself but often not so much.
